Toasting barrels.

 

I missed the beginning of the story, but I've long considered barrel-toasted sandwich bread to be among my favorites.

 

 

By noon, everyone was standing in line to get some lunch and the walkways started looking like a traffic jam.

 

The lunch lines were long. As I approached the head of the 1/2 lb. burger line, a gentleman in a lab coat bargained with me to cut in line.

My $8 burger became a $0 burger, and it tasted like $1,000,000.

A crowd at the Evil Mad Scientist display. The LEDs grab 'em and the Candyfab 6000 keeps them there. Candyfab melts granulated sugar together into solid objects, like a 3D printer.

Windell and I worked together on the Amazon Kindling project, which turned into a pretty big success, so I was really looking forward to talking with him.
