Maker Faire 2013
The wood press. I guess you could call this a mold? A jig maybe?
I enjoyed the disturbing motion of this motorized sequin-encrusted stomach model.
The north end of the exhibit hall was thick with kids.
The Zazzle space had a ton of workspaces for visitors.
Their activity was poster painting, which wasn't revolutionary, but it kept my kids interested for a good stretch and exposed them to liquid markers. I felt a little bad at what had to be a terrible conversion rate from poster-painter to Zazzle customer.
I think two robots marked the "Make:Live" speaker space.
The 3D robotics booth showed off their hardware. This winged drone reminded me of the Sensefly Swinglet drones.
But the 12-prop drone got all the attention.
A painting robot.
