1,000 Pictures of Disneyland - Introduction
Documenting the Landmarks and Corners of Disneyland
By Rob Cockerham |
Disneyland is a special place. Surgically planned and meticulously maintained, there is something special everywhere you look.
I'm a camera-wielding guy, so I've amassed my own collection of photos throughout the park. The shortcomings of this photo collection revealed itself to me when I was re-creating the park for my Disneyland Costume. I had a dozen questions that my photos couldn't answer. What's the pavillion tent look like? Are the buildings on the Frontierland island large or small? What else is in that group of buildings with the Golden Horseshoe? I had no idea.
With this kind of question in mind, I gave myself a special assignment on my latest trip. Photograph the crap out of Disneyland.
Mission accomplished. I snapped a thousand of them.
Disneyland is split into eight lands, and I've split the photos up by area, and split those areas up further to help guide visitors to exactly the image they might be looking for.
