Pot with fence design.

This ceramic pot is about 5" tall and 5" wide, with drainage holes in the bottom.

It was handmade, glazed and fired by my father John Cockerham.

To make the design, he coated it with blue/green engobe, then molten wax was used to form the pattern, the non-waxed part is then  sponged off (that is why it is spotted).

Then, when it is fired, the wax disappears.

Here is a photo of the bottom of the pot.

The pattern goes all the way around the sides of the pot.

These flowers, known as "Birds of Paradise" are not included.

I'm selling four of his pots on ebay.

  1. Fence design
  2. Plain design
  3. The tiny one
  4. Button design

The shipping is $3 within the United States of America, $4 to Canada and $5 to the United Kingdom. I accept paypal, money orders and checks.
