The correct answer is 84", or 7'0". It is accurate. For some reason, it made sense to me for a gas station to be accurate on something like this. Gas stations have an aura of automobile maintenance, which would translate to accurate measurements, or at least more accurate than at KFC.

Finally, the Shell Gas station had a clearance warning on their overhead canopy. Marked 12'.
What do you think the actual clearance is on this canopy? I measured to the bottom of the light fixtures.
