Occasionally cars are completely destroyed. They get towed away to the junk yard and it is time to start looking for a new car. More often, new cars become old cars through a long slow process, one ding, one chip, one stuck CD at a time. Some get fixed. Some don't.

Stacy's Hyundai Elantra has held up well, but a few little problems are sprouting up. The latest problem is the sun visor on the passenger side. It no longer snaps up into its stowed position. It drops unceremoniously back into the passenger's view, limp. I'd like to compile a somewhat comprehensive list of little defects that can affect your car. In particular I'd like the tiny ones. The ones that you don't bring in, even when your car is under warrantee. Thank you. |
